Fighting in Battles

During a battle, the player and enemy units exchange volleys until one side has run out of units, or surrenders because of lack of air cover. A player needs air cover as long as his enemy has air units, (fighters, bombers, and dive bombers). Air cover can be provided by air units, or by anti-aircraft guns. Units will always first attack the types of units it has the highest attack rating for. For instance, Fighter planes have both Air Attack, and Land Attack, but the Air Attack rating is higher. Because of this, Fighters will attack any existing enemy air units, and only attack land units if there are no longer air units to attack. Most land units can only attack other land units. The exception is Anti-Aircraft guns, which can only attack air units.
